Ipl 2026 Time Table is the complete schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL), an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament hosted in India by the BCCI and run as a franchise-based competition.
Starting March 28 and running through to May 31, this competition consists of 74 matches between teams competing to reach its playoff stage; four will qualify from each region to compete against one another for the title.
CSK vs SRH
Royal Challengers Bengaluru will kick-off the Indian Premier League 2026 season against Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Their encounter is sure to be an intense contest akin to that seen between these two batting heavyweights during previous Indian Premier League campaigns. The IPL Governing Council will announce their full tournament schedule next week but may release it gradually due to state assembly elections taking place across Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
Before the clash between RCB and SRH, both camps are in high spirits. Both sides hope to achieve their first win of the season and have made several new signings to strengthen their squads as well as adjustments in bench strength to add depth.
RCB have recently changed their bowling attack by including Praful Hinge, Jamie Overton and Nitish Kumar Reddy as back-up options behind their frontline pacers due to Colin Ingram’s injury, who will miss the remainder of this tournament due to quad strain.
Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad kept their top order afloat early on with his patient knock of 59 off 64 balls, to stabilize SRH’s innings and rebuild their chances.
Klaasen was instrumental in creating crucial partnerships with Abhishek Sharma and Aniket Verma before falling victim to miscue off KC Duffy’s bowling; eventually he was removed by Praful Hinge’s brilliant one-handed catch at cover point in the 16th over; their innings closed at 194/8 leaving CSK with an advantage to close out this match.
SRH vs KKR
After winning their opening match of the season, Sunrisers Hyderabad faced off against Kolkata Knight Riders in an intriguing contest at Chinnaswamy stadium. SRH chose to bat first and got off to an excellent start;
Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head hit some huge sixes as Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head helped SRH reach 84 in powerplay before they ultimately crumbled through middle overs to bowled out for 226.
In response, KKR started strongly as well with openers Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Sunil Narine hitting big runs in opening overs before regularly losing wickets throughout the innings due to Green being run out by Unadkat before Rahane fell victim to Unadkat who made sure his own wicket-keeperings to keep score! KKR managed only 226 before eventually bowled them out after 17 overs before finally being out at 321 from Unadkat.
KKR had an early slow start but never gave up in their pursuit of victory and they eventually broke their winless run at Hyderabad this season, becoming the first team ever to score 200 in an IPL game this year. Their chase was assisted by Harsh Dubey who took two wickets within five overs which made defending their total easier for them.
The 2026 Indian Premier League was the nineteenth edition of this Twenty20 tournament that features 10 teams competing at 13 venues from March 28 to May 31.
Due to assembly elections in India, this edition saw all games played simultaneously at one venue prior to switching them up so teams would play each other twice within their group and once against teams from another group; group winners qualify for playoffs.
KKR vs SRH
KKR vs SRH will be one of the major highlights in this year’s Indian Premier League tournament, as both teams currently sit within the top four and will vie for playoff spots.
The match will take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India; earlier KKR defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets for their first home win and made history by breaking a record for most sixes scored by an IPL batsman during an innings – this was done for the very first time!
IPL 2026 marked the 19th edition of India Premier League, a professional Twenty20 cricket tournament held annually since 2003. Held from March 28 through May 31 in 13 venues around India, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won both titles consecutively beating Gujarat Titans in both finals en route to taking the championship crown once more – marking first ever consecutive championship titles by any franchise!
The tournament was broadcast across more than 200 countries around the globe and garnered an audience of more than 1.1 billion, making it the highest viewership for any T20 event ever seen. Furthermore, this was also the inaugural season to use an all-new stadium – Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Sports Complex in Hyderabad – specially constructed to host both IPL and international cricket matches and built at an estimated cost of Rs 50 crore with an auditorium seating 18,000 people; an eight-lane cricket pitch designed specifically to host these matches was installed there; first in India; thus hosting matches of the ICC World Cup, ODI series, and T20I series!
SRH vs RCB
Indian Premier League playoffs will kick off after an action-packed season on April 4. Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will square off at Wankhede Stadium, before Gujarat Titans face Rajasthan Royals for the first time ever in postseason competition at home. It will mark a landmark moment when two rival teams face each other directly for the first time ever!
The opening match of the playoffs should be an action-packed run-fest between two batting heavyweights RCB’s batsmen have been in fine form throughout this tournament, while SRH have struggled against pace bowlers – this will be their first encounter and their fast bowlers may well go head to head in action against each other for the first time ever!
Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) made an announcement that all matches at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium would be played away from its ground in response to a stampede that occurred during a celebration last year and resulted in 11 fans dying during that event. They further indicated they will review its readiness as an IPL venue.
On March 13th, an inspection and rehearsal of match day arrangements at a proposed IPL venue will be carried out to gauge its readiness. We expect that most venues should be ready for hosting IPL matches by the end of March.
Qualifier 1 will feature the top two teams from League Stage; its winner will advance directly to the final, while its loser must face off against second-placed team in an eliminator match to determine their semifinalist status – 15 teams that have previously won this contest have gone on to lift the IPL trophy! Third and fourth placed teams in League Phase will participate in Eliminator 1 matches for one final opportunity to secure qualification into Final 4.
RCB vs SRH
As per the tentative IPL 2026 schedule, RCB and SRH will meet in one of the marquee matches of the opening phase. Both sides boast potency with their teams’ lineups; this evening encounter should provide thrilling action at Wankhede Stadium.
Since the inaugural Indian Premier League edition in 2008, RCB and SRH have engaged in fierce rivalry since. Over 24 contests, with 12 victories going to each side (RCB won 12 while 11 to SRH; one match ended tied). Now with renewed ambition in their pursuit of greater glory both clubs aim to add even more trophies to their collection.
On April 4, IPL 2026 will kick-off with two double-headers: Delhi Capitals will battle Mumbai Indians during the afternoon session and Gujarat Titans take on Rajasthan Royals during the evening match-ups – both guaranteed to draw massive crowds and provide the perfect prelude to IPL’s action-packed second phase.
Punjab Kings will open their IPL campaign against Lucknow Super Giants at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Jaipur on March 31. According to the Ipl 2026 Time Table, the team will look to make an impressive opening statement and give themselves the best chance at reaching the playoffs.
Their next home fixture against Gujarat Titans provides another opportunity to test themselves competitively before facing Rajasthan Royals away, marking their first encounter since the 2014 edition of the IPL tournament.
