Sri Lanka was able to achieve an unexpected win with four balls remaining, thanks to Thisara who batted brilliantly to make an unbeaten 77 not out from 109 balls, Tharanga and Sangakkara both made hundreds, Thisara hitting four sixes during his innings and being awarded man-of-the-match honours.
