Group A
Group A of the 2026 ICC U19 World Cup comprises one of four groups and the top three teams advance to the Super Six stage based on wins, losses and net run rates from their group matches in order to play two matches against opposing teams from that same group who finished differently in Group Stage matches. India’s Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leads Group A scoring with 30 runs while also setting an all-time Youth ODI innings record by hitting 15 sixes.
Group B
Group B of the 2026 U-19 Cricket World Cup comprises one of four groups and will see only the top three teams advance to the Super Six stage; Group A and D fourth placed teams will play against one another while B and C fourth-placed teams play each other in a placement game. India defeated Australia by 79 runs during their initial encounter, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi from India scoring 30 sixes, breaking his previous tournament record of 28 sixes scored during this game.
Team with the best win/loss record and net run rate will advance to the Super Six stage, along with those having amassed the highest total scores from their group stage matches.
Group C
Group C includes India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe – Afghanistan qualifying for their inaugural Under-19 World Cup and Zimbabwe making their tournament debut. India beat Afghanistan by 79 runs thanks to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s record-setting innings – their third win outright and now holding most wins among any team competing at the tournament. Only the top three teams from each group advance to Super Six stage of competition.
Group D
The top three teams from each group advance to the Super Six stage. There, they will face teams from other groups in two matches while continuing their wins, points, and net run rate from their group stage performances. At this point, one of these will receive Champion title while second-placed team will claim Runner-up accolade. Fourth placed teams will battle it out during placement stage matches.

Group E
Group E of the 2026 World Cup consisted of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. The top three teams from each group advanced to the Super Six stage while any fourth-placed teams from each group played each other in a placement stage match-up.
The tournament started on 15 February 2024 and concluded six months later on 6 February 2026 when India beat Australia by 79 runs in the final to claim victory; Vaibhav Sooryavanshi set an unprecedented World Cup record by hitting 30 sixes in his 55-ball century innings!
Group F
Group F is one of four groups at the 2026 ICC Under-19 World Cup and features India, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Bangladesh. The top three teams from each group will progress to the Super Six stage while remaining teams compete in the placement round.

Group G
The ICC U19 World Cup 2026 features 16 teams divided into four groups, and featuring top three teams from each to advance to the Super Six stage and fourth-placed teams playing against each other in the placement stage. Co-hosted by India and Afghanistan with full member hosts receiving automatic qualification plus winners of regional qualification tournaments receiving automatic inclusion into this competition, held between February and April 2026 with its final set for 27 April.
Group H
India and Australia qualify automatically, while 16 more teams were selected through ICC U19 World Cup 2026 Qualifiers. The top three teams in each group advance to the Super Six stage. Meanwhile, four remaining teams will contest a Placement Group with tiebreaker matches between their fourth-placed teams against third-placed teams from the opposing groups; winners from each will advance into Super Six playoffs.
Group I
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of India led Group I with 30 runs, as he broke the tournament record for most sixes hit in an Youth ODI innings with 15. This group proved particularly challenging given that India and Australia have each won multiple titles at this tournament; only second- and third-place finishers will advance to Super Six stage whereas fourth-placed teams will move onto placement stage play.
Group J
On January 15, Zimbabwe and Namibia will host the 2026 ICC Under-19 Men’s World Cup, starting off with group-stage matches that determine Super Six qualification through points, wins and net run rate. Only the top three teams from each of four groups advance directly to Super Six qualification; any fourth-placed sides enter placement stage; one bottom team from Group A may face Group D’s fourth-placed side while last team from Group B meets its respective Group C fourth-placed opponent – making every match of great significance and placing an emphasis on consistency and discipline!
Team India will begin their campaign against USA Under-19, as part of a group that also features Bangladesh, Australia and New Zealand. India face tough opposition and need early momentum in their first four matches to strengthen their position in the U19 Cricket World Cup Table.
