India B vs India C
India B and C are selection-based teams created for various tournaments by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
They often face each other during Duleep Trophy and Deodhar Trophy fixtures to allow selectors to assess players under high-strain situations similar to international cricket – not simply as mere matches but as an avenue into India A and senior national squads for strong performers.
India B trailed early before Sanju Samson’s heroic performance of 106 runs at Anantapur Rural Development Trust Stadium B rescued them. India B will aim to repeat that success against India D and earn their maiden win of this tournament.
